SPC (Stone Polymer Composite) and luxury vinyl plank flooring have transformed the mid-market and commercial retail floor space. Signature supplies and installs 100% waterproof SPC and glue-down commercial LVT — realistic wood and stone visuals, click-lock or permanent installation, and a wear layer matched to the traffic.
SPC is our go-to specification for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries and rental properties. It is fully waterproof, dent-resistant, dimensionally stable, and can be installed over most sound existing surfaces including tile, screed and even short-pile carpet with the correct underlay.
Luxury vinyl (LVT) is our specification for retail, restaurants and boutique commercial where a specific visual is wanted and heavy foot traffic is a certainty. Glue-down commercial LVT with 0.55mm+ wear layers regularly outlives the retail fit-out around it.
We install to manufacturer spec — moisture-tested sub-floors, expansion gaps set correctly, threshold and skirting details finished cleanly. Cheap installs make premium floors look cheap; done properly, SPC and LVT deliver a genuinely premium result at a mid-market price.

Solid hardwood
European oak, iroko, teak and merbau in 18–22mm thicknesses, tongue-and-groove or click-jointed, unfinished or pre-finished.
Engineered timber
3mm+ hardwood wear layer over ply substrates. Dimensionally stable, suitable for underfloor heating, and available in wide-plank formats.
Luxury vinyl (LVT)
Glue-down or click-lock LVT with 0.3–0.7mm wear layers — realistic wood and stone visuals, quiet underfoot.
SPC rigid core
Stone Polymer Composite planks — 100% waterproof, dent resistant, ideal for kitchens, bathrooms and commercial retail.
Underlays & barriers
IXPE and cork acoustic underlays, DPM moisture barriers, and PU adhesives for permanent glue-down installations.
Finishes

Where the sub-floor is compromised — cracks, damp, unevenness — we recommend the remedial work upfront. Skipping it voids the manufacturer's warranty and shortens the floor's life by years.

Wood floors
Dust mop weekly, damp mop with a wood-safe cleaner monthly, and refresh with a hard-wax oil coat every 3–5 years depending on wear.
SPC & LVT
Sweep, damp mop, avoid soaking. Any spill wipes off — the surface is impervious. No re-coating required.
Furniture protection
Felt pads on chairs, larger area rugs at entrances and a strict no-stiletto policy on solid timber for maximum aesthetic life.
Refurbishment cycle
Solid hardwood can be sanded and refinished multiple times. Engineered timber can typically be refinished once or twice.
